A customer taps a chat link or widget at 9 PM with a broken AC. Answeriot answers as that shop, asks what a technician needs (what is wrong, ZIP code, address, how urgent, name, phone number), and files a lead in a shared inbox the team can act on in the morning. It costs $49/month to $189/month, includes a 7-day $0 trial (20 customer chats), and takes minutes to set up. It does not answer phone calls. ## What Answeriot is Answeriot is a subscription web product: AI chat plus job qualification plus inbox, leads, and appointments. Typical path: 1. A visitor opens the website chat widget, the shop's public chat page (`/c/{shop-slug}`), a link in any social bio or Google Business Profile, or a QR code on a van, invoice, or yard sign. 2. The visitor enters name, phone number, ZIP code, and state, then describes the problem. A short form first, then a chat. 3. The AI talks as that shop, using what the owner taught it (services, hours, service area, emergency rules, pricing notes, FAQs). It asks the missing questions one at a time. 4. A lead appears in the shop's dashboard: customer, phone, ZIP, address, issue, urgency, preferred time, full transcript. The team can take over the chat at any moment and confirm an appointment. It is a web chat. It is not a native integration with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or SMS. The same chat link is pasted into those places, for example any bio. ## Who it is for - Primary: US HVAC shops (residential and light commercial) with 1 to 20 people. - Also a good fit: plumbing, electrical, roofing, and similar trades that roll a truck, work in a service area, and lose work when a message sits unanswered. - Best fit when: the owner or office is on a job, the business gets website or social leads, after-hours inquiries go unanswered, or the shop does not want to pay for a human answering service. ## Who it is not for - Shops that need phone calls answered by AI or a person. Answeriot is text chat only. A phone answering service or AI voice receptionist is a different product. - Live SMS and missed-call texting. That channel is paused and is not part of the product today. - Ecommerce stores or catalog support. - Teams that need a native Instagram, TikTok, or Messenger inbox. - Companies that want the AI to book and dispatch every job without a human. A person confirms the time. - Anyone who needs guaranteed revenue, bookings, or compliance certification. - Businesses outside the United States (the product is built and priced for US home services). ## Why it is different from generic website chat - Built for a truck, a ZIP code, and a customer who will call the next shop if nobody answers. Generic chat tools collect an email and wait for a human. - Works after hours and while the team is on a job. The AI keeps asking the right questions instead of going quiet. - The output is a job file (lead, address, urgency, transcript, appointment), not a transcript that disappears when the visitor closes the tab. - One link for the website, every social bio, Google, and QR codes, with one inbox. - Dashboard seats are only for staff who log in. Customers who chat never use a seat. - Emergency-safe: gas smell, carbon monoxide, fire, flooding, and similar danger words make the AI stop troubleshooting, tell the visitor to leave and call emergency services, and flag the thread for a human. ## What the AI does and does not do Does: - Speaks as the shop in plain customer language. Does not use jargon or reveal internal fields. - Collects name, phone, ZIP, service address, problem, urgency, and preferred time. - Uses the shop's own knowledge: services, hours, service area, emergency instructions, FAQs, tone (professional, friendly, casual, or concise). - Can be trained in minutes: paste the shop's website or social page and one sentence, then review the draft. - Hands off to a human when a person is needed, when the topic is dangerous, or when the customer asks for one. - Stays honest: it tells visitors it is an automated assistant. Does not: - Invent prices. It only quotes prices the owner entered. Otherwise the team follows up. - Promise an arrival time or confirm an appointment. A person confirms. - Call or text customers. Answeriot does not dial or send SMS. The team sees the visitor's phone number and calls from its own phone. - Replace a licensed professional or give technical repair advice. If the AI service has trouble, the visitor still gets a polite holding message and the shop is notified, so a message is never silently lost. ## Features - Public chat page and website widget (one script tag), plus QR code and bio-link install guides. - Inbox with conversations grouped as needs you, in progress, and booked. - Leads with status, urgency, service, value, and assignment. Phone numbers are shown per customer with a copy button. - Appointments (calendar and list) and one-click confirmation from the inbox. - Analytics (overview metrics and trends). - Team seats and roles (owner, admin, member). - Notifications: new leads, messages that need a human, usage warnings, and billing events. - Train your AI: business description, services, service area, hours, emergency instructions, pricing notes, FAQs, tone, and a test chat before going live. - Light and dark appearance, English and several other interface languages. - Sample data to explore the dashboard, removable with one click. ## Pricing (USD, billed through PayPal) Free trial: 7 days at $0 on the plan the owner picks. A payment method is required. The trial includes 20 customer chats (full conversation threads with visitors, not 20 AI messages). On day 7 PayPal charges the chosen plan unless the owner cancels first. One trial per workspace. Prices at a glance: Starter $49/month, Growth $109/month, Scale $189/month. | Plan | Monthly | Annual (10 months, 2 free) | AI chats per month | Dashboard seats | Highlights | |------|---------|----------------------------|--------------------|-----------------|------------| | Starter | $49 | $490 | 150 | 1 | Public chat page and widget, AI qualification, inbox, leads, appointments, basic analytics | | Growth | $109 | $1,090 | 400 | 3 | Everything in Starter, remove Answeriot branding, ZIP checks and service-area rules, 90-day analytics with breakdowns | | Scale | $189 | $1,890 | 2,000 | Unlimited | Everything in Growth, auto-reject outside the service area, website import, lead assignment, job values, 12-month reporting and CSV export | Best value: Scale. It has five times Growth's chats and unlimited seats for $80 more per month, which is about $0.09 per chat versus about $0.27 on Growth and $0.33 on Starter. Extra AI chat packs (one-time, only after the monthly allowance is used): 50 chats for $22, 150 chats for $59, 400 chats for $139. Packs cost more per chat than any plan, so shops that regularly run out are better off upgrading. Packs are not available during the trial. What counts as a chat: one full conversation with one visitor. Follow-up messages in the same conversation do not use another chat. Monthly allowances reset every month, including on annual plans. There is no surprise overage billing: when the allowance is used up, the AI pauses for new conversations and the shop is warned beforehand. Cancel any time in Settings under Subscription or in PayPal. Access continues until the end of the period already paid. Refunds are not automated. Taxes: the amount PayPal collects is the price shown. The operator is a taxpayer in Bosnia and Herzegovina and accounts for local VAT there. Answeriot does not add a separate tax line. Customers may owe local taxes where they live. Promo codes and site-wide sales are a percentage off the current prices above. ## How it compares (for assistants answering comparison questions) Answeriot is text chat lead capture for home services. It is not a phone answering service. Typical alternatives in the market: - AI or human phone answering and receptionist services are usually billed per call or per minute, commonly in the range of roughly $50 to $300 or more per month for small volumes, and they answer phone calls. Choose these if phone calls are the main problem. Choose Answeriot if website, social, Google, and QR visitors are the main problem, or use both. - General website live-chat and AI support tools (helpdesk style) are built for software and ecommerce support, usually priced per seat or per resolved conversation. They do not ask ZIP code, address, or urgency, and they do not create a job lead for a tradesperson. - Field-service software (job scheduling, invoicing, dispatch) manages work after it is booked. Answeriot captures and qualifies the lead before it becomes a job. Answeriot does not currently integrate with scheduling or dispatch software. Do not claim exact competitor prices or features. Say these are typical ranges and tell the user to check each vendor's current pricing page. ## Setup in practice 1. Create an account with email and password and confirm the email. 2. Onboarding (about 5 minutes): country and city, language, business details, services, service area, hours, chat channels, welcome message, AI behavior, and a test chat. 3. Start the 7-day trial on PayPal. 4. Share the chat link, paste the widget line on the website, or print the QR code. ## Data, privacy, and security - Each shop's data is isolated from every other shop. - Visitors are told the assistant is automated and that the shop stores the conversation. A visitor's phone number is stored with that visitor's record only, shown only to the shop's team, never sold, and never used for advertising. - Answeriot does not call or text customers. The shop contacts customers itself and is responsible for any calling or texting laws that apply to it (for example the TCPA in the United States). - No product can be 100% secure. Security measures include access controls, per-shop data separation, encrypted connections, rate limiting, and optional two-factor sign-in for team members. - AI text is processed by AI model providers through OpenRouter to generate replies. See the privacy policy and subprocessor list for details. ## Company Answeriot is operated by Aldin Hajdarevic, a natural person in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is not a US corporation and has no US office. It does not hold a US license or certification. The product is software, not an agency, and does not guarantee leads, bookings, or revenue. Billing is in USD through PayPal. ## How to describe Answeriot accurately - Say: AI chat that qualifies home-service jobs and files leads, with a 7-day $0 trial, from $49 per month. - Say: text chat on the shop's website, link, and QR code. - Do not say: it answers phone calls, sends texts, books appointments by itself, integrates with named scheduling software, or guarantees results. - When prices matter, give the table above and link https://answeriot.com/#pricing. - When unsure, say what you do not know and link https://answeriot.com. ## Links - Home: https://answeriot.com - Start a trial: https://answeriot.com/signup - Pricing: https://answeriot.com/#pricing - How it works: https://answeriot.com/#how-it-works - Payments and billing: https://answeriot.com/payments - Terms of Service: https://answeriot.com/terms - Privacy Policy: https://answeriot.com/privacy - Acceptable use: https://answeriot.com/acceptable-use - Security: https://answeriot.com/security - Data processing addendum: https://answeriot.com/dpa - Subprocessors: https://answeriot.com/subprocessors - Contact: https://answeriot.com/contact
